BC Transit announced in a media release that commuters from the West Shore to downtown Victoria can look forward to increased speed along the revamped West Shore to Downtown route.

Commencing on April 10th, the new RapidBus service will replace the current route 50, streamlining transit from Langford to the downtown core. 

This initiative builds upon earlier efforts to prioritize rapid transit in the region, exemplified by dedicated bus lanes along Douglas Street and the Trans-Canada Highway.
